The team at Pace Contracting had a great day donating our time and working on one of Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas' projects in North Las Vegas on Friday, June 27. Twenty four of our employees including Carpenters/Finishers, Laborers, Foremen, Superintendents and professional staff volunteered for the day setting top plate, trusses, blocking, fascia and started the roof sheeting. Together our team contributed over 190 man hours of labor on the project helping to keep Habitat’s project ahead of schedule.
Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas builds single family homes throughout Clark County for working families earning less than 80% of Area Median Income. The home is sold at no profit through a no-interest mortgage. Families volunteer their labor to help build Habitat homes, including the one they will eventually purchase.
Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas revitalizes and stabilizes neighborhoods in our community that cannot support private development. Sponsors, donors, volunteers and families work together to build homes, settle families and grow a community of neighbors.
Pace is committed to improve the communities in which we live and work, and our team was proud to be able to help this great organization.
