Pace Contracting was awarded AGC's Safe Site Award for the Las Vegas Springs Preserve Historic Cottage Restoration project for October 2013. Pace Contracting self performed Concrete, Masonry and Carpentry on the project and completed over 11,800 man hours without a lost time accident.
Congratulations to Superintendent Derek Rosse for implementing and continuously improving Pace’s safety program at our sites. This project faced many unique safety challenges including confined spaces, hazardous materials, asbestos, lead paint, fire protection in historic wood structures, and structure relocation, and Derek worked tirelessly to ensure the safety or our workmen, subcontractors, the public and our clients.
Pace has an unwavering commitment to safety on our projects at every level of the organization. In 2013 Pace crews completed over 31,000 hours of field labor. Pace is proud that we have not had a lost time injury in over 3 years.
