Fire Station #20

Fire Station #20 was a new 12,067 SF Fire Station for the Clark County Fire Department on a three acre site featuring three truck bays, offices, training rooms, dormitory facilities, entertainment and exercise facilities, and a commercial grade kitchen.  The project was masonry and structural steel construction; portland plaster, masonry, cast stone, architectural exposed structural steel, and composite metal panel exterior.  The fire station bays included a vehicle exhaust removal system; it also included full building backup diesel generation system, redundant public address systems, and access control.

The project was completed on time and for less than the original contract value and was featured in the April 2011 edition of CMU Profiles in Architecture (link).
