Raptor Park

Description

Raptor Park

The main feature of this project was a 1/3 scale F-22 Raptor display in a decorative central plaza to honor the local military personnel at Nellis Air Force Base. The Raptor replica is mounted on steel "con-trails" supported by a 14 FT structural concrete monument pedestal.  The project also includes landscaping, sidewalks, trails, splash pad upgrades, picnic areas and shade structures, street improvements, and utilities. Pace Contracting self-performed all concrete work on the project. Pace Contracting completed Raptor Park three months early for the City of Las Vegas.  This great project was completed ahead of schedule due to proactive coordination with the City of Las Vegas, Stanley Consultants, and Southwick Landscape Architecture.  Potentially significant schedule delays due to utility conflicts were successfully overcome, and Pace is proud to have completed this signature phase of the park and recreation complex for the City.
